This school has good intentions, yet has food the students don't eat or like and I personally think it should just have one teacher for each subject; for the 6-8th grade. Other than that, the school is great.

New Heights Charter is a great school . It's great because the teachers and administrative team are knowledgeable and caring. My granddaughter is learning to read, uses the IPad, and has made lots of friends.

My son goes here & I honestly don't like the school! !!! They say they have so many programs but not for the youngers kids.. Kinder-2nd grade.. They teachers can't handle the students because they have no help. With a class full of over 20 kids they need to at lease have a teacher aid.. My son was already advance coming to this school in kinder now he's in first grade it seem like he's behind. If it wasn't for us teaching him at home he would be behind. . He would definitely not attend in the 2nd grade!!!! They don't do student of the month, don't issue out perfect attendance awards or nothing...

It's a nice and kind place for kids. However no school is perfect it's small but growing has a beautful extension program where students improve their comprehension and develop a love of reading, increase vocabulary and can't over look the math department it is small but therefore it delivers when it comes to that geometry. Moreover please look at the overall program you may like what you see as for as the extra activites the school offers. About the staff they are wonderful.

Every school has challenges with student discipline, but this school has a different approach. They are really trying to build students' skills so that they can solve their own problems and learn how to control themselves.

I would like to say in response to the 'New Comer' that the friendly attention that was recvd' from New Heights was not what the Issue is. This is an Institution of learning not a daycare facility. Your main concern should be your child's education, not if someone is holding there hand all day, because in the real world no one is going to hold thier hand every step. They need to be educated to survive in the real world

I was there with my little brother yesterday and he enrolled today. Everyone was nice and super friendly. At his first day today they went out of their way to make sure he felt comfortable and accepted. The principal is nice and very respectful with the kids. She had boy in her office yesterday and was really trying to understand why he was frustrated. She was nice and mellow and the boy responded to that behavior. We are glad we found the school.

I have been at this school the opening and i feel the school is not getting any better it is getting worse...I think the office is more concerned with money then the children...I have waited for the discipline to increase instead it has decreased...This will be my childrens last year and i hope the other parents do the same...There is little to no communication from the office...and if they feel the teachers are suppose to do it they are crazy it is the offices' job to communicate with the parents about what is going on in the school...the teachers are only suppose to teach the children and communicate there work to the parent...which i give them there props on they do communicate with parents...I wish this school would have been better but its not...so good bye!!!!

We are very pleased with our new school. The curriculum and emphasis on child health and nutrition is outstanding. The Exec. Dir. is very open and easy to talk with . All of our concerns are addressed immediately. We're excited about the future growth of this learning enviroment.

This school is very new. My daughter attended kindergarten here. I believe they have a good academic cirriculum. Most of their teachers are new to the profession, therefore they don't have much experience in dealing with other areas of the teacher profession (my opinion). For example: How to handle children that may be falling behind, disciplinary tactics, etc. There's alot bad kids there though, without that, the school would be very good.Classrooms are small, but over-all I think it's a good school.

This school promised a lot, but when the year was over, many things were not done. There is a big discipline problem. Some of the teachers are OK, but the classrooms were very crowded. I would not recommend this school, unless it is the only option besides the local public school.
