Hollenbeck has a great spirirt around it! Most children come to school with a real purpose to learn and succeed. Hollenbeck has some real East L.A.. history to it. The students are proud to attend a school their parents attended. Administrators do need to speed more time in the classroom supporting teachers and students, not just yard supervison.

This school is awesome! It's fun, the field trips are great, and so are the electives. I couldn't ask for better teachers!<3

From personal experiencei think that hollenbeck is a great school. Not only do the administaters encourage all of the students to do well and the students themselfs encourage each other. They also have really good electives like music ,computers, art, leadership, yearbook, and a.V.Id. Which is a college prepaory class i am glad that we were all encouraged to graduate from high school but also from a 4 year college. I would really recomend hollenbeck to everyone.

I am very satisfied with Hollenbeck M.S.My son graduated from here and he turned out to be a very excellent student. The staff is very helpful and wonderful. Now, I have a daughter here and she comes home very happy, talking good about her teachers so......many times parents arent satisfied about the school system at HMS but I have no complaints.Continue the good work.

I can tell you from personal experience that this middle school is a total joke. The administration does little to back up the teachers and substitutes in the classroom and most of the kids are very unruly and rude.

Hollenbeck ms is a fantastic school to attend besides the leadership skills I received from leadership class I also understood many methods of life and how to manage myself. This school is great and I appreaciate all the focus they ever gave me. A school is a school its up to the student to make the best out of it.

Sincerely speaking, Hollenbeck has change over night with the new administration. There instructional program is more rigorous than before and they have succesfully implemented a school-wide program, Heart, where students and their families are celebrated for achieving academic excellence. I am happy to say that my child attends Hollenbeck MS.
