This school is a perfect fit for our family. The principal is incredible as is our son's kindergarten teacher. Melrose sets the bar high for all of its students, and as a result the children are learning and achieving at a higher level.

AWESOME! The principal firstly is an epitome of poise, intelligence and educator. She leads by example but with much gentle and full of heart kind of leadership. The teachers are thus also inspired despite the challenges in their profession. And so kudos to the parents who are tirelessly present to support whatever the school needs in manpower. The students are very lucky. And because they see the great dynamics among all their educators, staff and parents, the children are motivated to learn and to know even beyond the four walls of their classrooms. There is just so much positive energy surrounding the campus. We love it like it is our second home. GO STARRS!

Its an amazing school with excellent teachers and staff. A real family feel. It was hard with all the budget cuts but the parents and staff pulled together and made a great year for all the kids. My son loves his school.

The perfect public school: dedicated, intelligent, understanding, compassionate, strict, organized teachers; a superior principal who is a true advocate for public education; great students; great parent community. This school exceeds all expectations. All schools should be this great.

We drive our daughter for over 30 min one way each morning just so she can attend this school, it is absolutely amazing. The dedication from parents as well as from students and staff to make it the best place ever, is exceptional and much appreciated.

I have worked at several schools and worked with many teachers. The staff at Melrose are among the most dedicated, hard-working educators whose focus is not only academic excellence but character building to create outstanding citizens. This certainly includes Ms. "O"; a diligent and caring teacher whose high expectations has unleashed her students' potential.
