Profile Completeness

BASIC

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

Metro is a great high school! After messing up and falling behind in credits at my old high school I was told to come to Metro. I am glad I did. The teachers really seem to care about us they were able to help me understand more then I ever did at my other schools. A lot of kids seem to graduate from Metro and it seems to change kids lives for the better.

I attended this school for about two years. If I had the chance to attend again, I would without a doubt take the opportunity. The teachers are great. They are patient and show special interest in all the students who WANT to learn. My personal experience was the BEST a student can have. Those who stay behind, do so because of themselves! But like always it's easier to blame teachers than have your beloved child take responsibility for putting no interest. I will never forget Room 7 with Ms. Chris. She is by far the best English teacher I've had.

This school holds kids back and give no concrete grade when asked by a parent, except he or she is doing o.k mean while they take the same classes over and over. Only to spend years thier and only told when its time to graduate because they say so. The principles act like the king and queen who are in charge of people lives and easly angered when challeged on thier policy. why are kids thier until the age of 19 & 20 years of age. The school is close to 90% hispanic less than 12% blk so thier is not much opersition. They do what they want. When they are question they are also quick to say your child is not doing what they supposed to be doing, but not failing but still beat arround the bush as to give you concrete information. This is a conflict of interest.
