The teachers work very hard to provide an enriched academic environment that differentiates instruction for all students. Both the veteran teachers and new teachers support each other and collaborate to challenge students to do their best. Mr. Ramirez has brought wonderful changes to the campus. The students are his priority.

This school is very bad in the academic performance with no creative think encourage as well as army training. Now is the 100th day of school, one teacher absent from school 35 days. I hope LAUSD can really look at the problem about this school.

My child has been attending Palms Elementary for 2 years now. I think that her teachers are good. I do feel like the principal does not promote parent involvement and lacks leadership. Because the school is mostly hispanic, I feel like the principal caters to the hispanic students more, which ultimately may hurt all students across the board. If the administration of the school truly cared for the kids, than there would be more organized programs for the kids and truly promote diversity at Palms Elementarty school. Instead, when he speaks to the students, when flyers come home from the students. The murals on the walls everything is translated in spanish. What about the other languages. There are other parents that do not speak English, but he forgets about that. If we had better leadership, we would have a better school.

The academic program at Palms Elementary is average. If your child needs extra support, this school will not provide it for you. There is not an instrumental music program. Parent involvement is limited to Parent groups.

This school would be better if there was more parent involvement, but as of right now I would not reccomend this school.

My child attended this school for her second grade year. The faculty and staff at this school were very dedicated and personable. However, I felt this school left a lot to be desired in the the area of academics. Many of the students are ESL, which changes the focus of the classroom's studies.

I have truly enjoyes the school. The teachers are great and I have had teachers to contact me to tell me what a good job my son is doing. The school is very diversied in which that was 1 of the key elements for me to send my son to a public school. With him leaving the private school environment..He himself has told me he enjoys the school much more for the diversity.
