What others should know about this school is that, we're a family, and we all help each other out with stuff, and help out the community by doing projects, and present them to the community. 9th graders-12th graders, all have different topics, they research on, for example, High School Dropouts, Pregnancy, American Dream, Recycling, How Has Racism Change, Peoples Right, and many more. I love this school because it really does prepare us for the future, and real world. It shows us how to collaborate, reflect, express ourselves, present projects, show evidence to back up our facts, and opinions, serve the community, and connect to the real world. - A PROUD CIVITAS SOL HS GRADUATE(: CLASS OF 2013!
I attended this school before, and the truth is this school is not the same as any other high school. In this school each student gets all the help that they need or ask for. Students learn in different ways not just through books and scantron tests but with interaction in groups and projects inside and outside of school, and also presentation. Civitas teachers and staff don't only teach students their education but they also teach students how to succeed in life, and apply the skills that they've learned to their daily lives.
My daughter attends this school and I can't begin to thank them enough for taking such an interest in, not just my child's education and learning experience, but in every kid's education as well. My daughter has done a complete 180 since attending Civitas.
