Our daughter has been attending Discovery school for the last 2 1/2 years and we couldn't be happier! It's her home away from home where she feels safe, nurtured and loved. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous with different play areas for each age group. We have a farm and a vegetable garden that the children visit weekly for gardening and farm lessons. Lunch is cooked on the premises by the school's chef. Each classroom is fully stocked with educational material and, as of this year, they have opened a computer lab and a science center. Discovery School is a wonderful community where parents become friends and the children are one big family. The Parents Association is actively involved in organizing events, field trips, school visits and shows. Children have plenty of play time as well as academics and we feel very confident that our daughter will enter kindergarten well prepared. Teachers are caring and loving. The staff is attentive and Eyde, the director, has the well being of our children at heart. We have only 6 months left at Discovery School and we will miss it! It has been a very important part of our lives and our daughter's development.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
