Christ the king is a gem hidden in Hollywood. The teachers are surprisingly thorough in the early years (grades 2 to 4) and students get to know advanced skills and truly compare quite well with other prestigious private schools. I know since I have a child who studied here and went to to a top high school and college.

Christ the King is not a very school due to their inconsistency of teaching. Each grade is situated into one room which slows down other students' oppurtunity to learn and excel. The discipline is not strict enough which causes some students to create distractions in class. In certain subject areas, teachers do not teach enough to have the students fully understand the topic. In some cases, teachers cut time off other subjects in order to make up time for another one. Also, students are mistreated in the fact that they are not able to fully learn, excel, nor show their true potential. They are not pushed hard enough to fully succeed. One recommendation that Christ the King would like to know is to test the teachers in the areas that they are teaching.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
