Resurrection School by far is a great learning place for my child or any child. I have been very happy with the quality of education my child has been recieving. The teachers are all approachable and committed to the educatiion of children. Children are being taught moral, values, and responsibility among academics. The principal is professiional and is understanding. The principal worked very hard to bring a brand new playground for the children, a new camera and security system, and our school is colorful with all the new murals. I highly recommend this school for any parent looking for a PreKinder to 8th grade.
My kids have always been in public school. But I noticed that my son was falling behind in his studies. I decided to put them at Resurrection and now I have noticed a vast improvement in both their academic studies and social skills. My kids were not happy about the change because they would not have their friends with them . But both have adapted well to the new school and made new friends. They are both now very involved in school activities during and after school. As a parent I am always aware of what's going on in school and in the classroom. The teachers are always pushing the students to do their best. The teachers are great role models for all students. Their is great discipline. The principle is very strict yet willing to work with you/kids. The school is very family oriented.
The best private school in the area....such family orientated atmosphere.
My child attended this school and graduated last 2 years so far she did not learn alot from this school and everyone was not nice to her and the principal was not nice to her either the school is very strick about mostly everything I wouldnt reccomond this school for your child
The students attending resurrection overall are happy at this school. To the students it is a second home. It is unfortunate that many families who's children attended Resurrection have decided to not return for the 2009/10 school year. Many families enrolled their children in other Catholic Schools, not due to financial reasons but due the inapproriateness and lack of professionalism of the schools principal. She apparently tends to make families feel uncomfortable, belittled, extends assistance and then makes the parents feel as if they are endebted to HER. The principals performance and arrogance has affected the Schools Parent Morale. Hopefully there will be some improvement in the near future. With the exception of the principal, it is a wonderful school for our children.
the principal is not doing here job at all but uther than that it is a very good school
Resurrection School was a great find for our family .. My children are very happy at Resurrection.
Very pleased with the value at the school and quality of education, including discipline and faith based education. Fridays are formal dress with school Mass which my kids like! My children are performing great, 2 oldest graduated from this school and were accepted to the best Catholic high schools nearby. The school has an afterschool enrichment program, a full-day pre-K program, and for working parents, a daycare for kids to be supervised and do their homework until 6:00 pm. Communication is very good with periodic progress reports, regular weekly or byweekly Principal newsletters, she has an open door policy pushes for scholarships for needy families. We just were informed school received a $12K grant for new computers for computer lab! Parents can chose involvement in several fundraisers to reduce tuition, or can buy-out and pay slightly higher fees if working parents.
I am very happy with the quality of the academic program my child has recieved. The principal is approachable and available to speak with. My child can from a public school and I clearly see much better quality of education. I like that my child gets to go to mass every Friday. Overall I recommend this school.
The principal is never available. Parents are never informed.
