I recently removed my son and daughter from St. Bernadette's and instead enrolled them at St. Jerome School. In my opinion, St. Bernadette provides a mediocre curriculum and did not focus on instilling morals and values that I believe a Catholic school should. In my opinion, the only things that distinguish St. Bernadette as a Catholic School are the uniform and the tuition, and actually, there are non-denominational institutions that do the same thing! I know that I made the best decision for my children as they are thriving academically as well as receiving great reinforcement for the Catholic values that we practice at home.

As a parent and former student, I feel that St. Bernadette is an excellent school. The principal and the teachers are hands on and work with the children. Education is a partnership and they go above and beyond with their students. Parents need to step up and do their part. School is not a daycare, WE as parents have to do our share. Not the same parents over and over. All of my children have attended St. Bernadette's, my oldest has continued on to college, and another into a good high school; with the foundation that they have received from St. Bernadette's!! Thank you Ms. Davis and staff.

My niece and my son both went to st. Bernadette. Both got in to excellent high schools. My son got in to Loyola High School based on academics alone. This was due to St. Bernadette's strong academic foundation. I highly recommend St. Bernadtte to any parent searching for a quality education for their children. St. Bernadette also has a great faculty line-up who really care for tue students' well-being and success. My son still goes down there all the time to visit his old teachers and coach. Once again, I highly recommend St. Bernadette to any parent searching for a good academic foundation and catholic foundation.

Well overall, I think this is a good school. They really have a solid learning foundation for the kids. If you are looking for a school that will just cover the book or lesson plan briefly and you are satisfied with this type of teaching, then this is not the school for your child. However, if you want hands on learning and lesson plans that are repeated until the child understands and is ready to move on to the next level, then this is the school for your child. My child has been on the honor roll since starting here and has learned a great deal about working independently and understanding all subjects pretty well. It is up to the parent to get involved in their child's learning. In terms of the school being a little dirty, maybe some parents can volunteer their time and make it prettier..........

(Part 3 of 3) So what does that tell you? They just want to complain. No, school is prefect. I feel Mrs. Davis is a very professional principal who takes care of business. She has made numerous improvements to the school. Keep up the good job Mrs. Davis!

I am just going to make it brief; the school principle is not a professinal at all. She does not act or speak like one. She does not even dress or act like a Catholic school principle. I do not recommend this school at all. By the way, the school is really dirty and unkept.

I find St. Bernadette Catholic school to be one of the best in the Crenshaw district and beyond. Most if not all of the students move on to excellent high school of thier choosing. many go into high school with honors. What I do feel is lack is when parents do not assit in thier childrens education and expect miracles. Parent's make comments about the money, don't they get paid on their jobs. It is a parents responsibility to pay the tuition and complete service hours. Those are minimum requirements. I love the education my children are receiving.

This school is trying. They still have a long way to go. They have a good principal but they need more money to up date the school. Students need to be pushed harder and parents to participate more. I always see the same parents at all of the activities. But they are trying

I am happy with the quality of education provided here at St. Bernadette Scool. Having attened the school myself, I feel that the quality of the school has not changed much in over 20 years. They care about the children, not the money. That's very important these days when raising children in South Los Angeles. Teaching responsibility and holding children accountable for their actions. Overall preparing them for the world. Ms. Davis is a blessing to this school and I am glad having met her. A few years ago before she came I probably would not feel this way about this school. She has made a huge improvement to the school.
