Yavneh Hebrew Academy has given our son a superb secular and Jewish education. The school has excited our son about learning Gemara (Talmud), and awakened his interest in social sciences. It is a demanding school academically and personally. The school holds children to high moral standards. The administration is tough - no doubt of that - but they run a tight ship, they keep their eye on every student, and no one "falls through the cracks." We have adored our experience at Yavneh.
we had a horrible experience in that school.Very harsh and cold administration. We felt that the school did not apply Jewish principles, we experienced a lack of compassion and alot of hipocracy . If parents already make the sacrifice to pay for a Jewish education ,they should really make sure that they get in return the Judaism that they pay for, do not be fooled by the beautiful campus. In our opinion sending kids to a Jewish school whose actions contradict the Jewish principles that tthe school teaches is very harmful .The contradiction can really turn a child off from Judaism and it takes a lot to rebuild that faith.
Amazing!! It is high in quality of Jewish and secular education, the staff is professional and warm, security is good, and standards are high. If you are looking for an organized system that is setting the bar high, but with love and care, then Yavneh is for you. However, if you have a laid-back style, you probably do not fit this school.
