Open Enrollment List Available 5/9

LAUSD.net offered a press release yesterday that stated the list of schools with open enrollment will be released on May 9th.
Schools with open seats (more class seats that projected enrollment) will accept applications. If fewer students apply than there are openings, all students are accepted. If more apply than openings available, the school will hold a lottery in early June.
This is a great opportunity for parents to choose a better school for their children. Open enrollment permits are permanent--for the entire time a student attends that school.
