My grandson has attended Rainbow of Knowledge in Los Gatos for two years. I am so impressed with the quality of the program and the attention given to the needs of each student. As a former teacher and administrator, I appreciate the curriculum and enrichment activities provided by these dedicated teachers. My grandson has grown academically and enjoys the field trips, Spanish and sign language in his curriculum. Each child is respected and allowed to develop their own personality while being expected to live up to the high ideals of the school. Not only is the curriculum enriching but the students are guided to become excellent and caring individuals through an emphasis on character development. This teachers at this school truly care about individual students and are dedicated to excellence. MH - happy grandmother
My son started in March 2011 and loves attending Rainbow Of Knowledge School. The teachers have over 10 years plus experience, teach from their hearts and are caring and nuturing. Low teacher to student ratio, well behaved students, zero tolerance for bullying, quality field trips, clean classrooms, etc I wish they go beyond 6th grade. My child has made tremendous progress socially and academically since March compared to public school. Thank you ROK School. A happy parent.
My son has been going to Rainbow of Knowledge in the Kindergarten classroom since November. Ms. Jenny is an extraordinary teacher. Her ability to teach and understand each kid's behavior and talent is phenomenal. My son has shown tremendous amount of improvement in academics and behavior. The small classroom and the school's motto and principle make this an outstanding choice for any kids.
Rainbow of Knowledge has been the best expereince for my son who has attended for the last 2 years. The school has a small teacher to student ration and teaches a strong sense of community. Rainbow balances a strong academic program with hands on science, cooking and art. the field trips and special presentations are all well liked by the students. My son has matured academically and socially at this school and absolutely loves school. T.K (happy parent)
My Daughter started attending this school and loves it. They are very hands on a and have a lot of field trips. She attended Montessori based school for about 3.5 years and I can say that she learned more here and enjoys this school better than any of her previous schools. Teachers are very caring and we love them. It feels like an extended family for me. -S.R (Happy Mom)
My son attended preschool and Jr. K at Rainbow a few years ago and we loved it. They no longer offer preschool, but have Jr K instead (kids must be at least 4.9 years to start). We are now getting ready to send our daughter over. After 10 minutes of trying to find their web site we finally found the correct url: http://www.rainbowofknowledgeschool.com. Check them out - you will not regret it.
My son just does not fit in well with a traditional public school. Rainbow of Knowledge is so perfect for him. They have a very low student to teacher ratio and that individualized attention really helps him. I was extremely pleased to discover that their curriculum is just as demanding, if not more, than the public schools. The teachers are very supportive and I just think it is a great school for any type student.
I feel so fortunate to have discovered Rainbow School of Knowledge. My son has been in the special ed classes at public school and it was just not a good environment for him. He has blossomed tremendously since he started attending Rainbow School this last summer. The teachers and the students have just embraced him with kindness and love and he looks forward to going to school now everyday. He's learning so much more and is being challenged which the public system would not do. The small class size is ideal for him. I feel we have been blessed by discovering the Rainbow School of Knowledge. I highly recommend it.
The teachers are great, top-notch, very caring and supportive. The children themselves are all supportive in a way I have never seen. They nurture a love for learning, friendship and good social citizens. The environment: Progressive, academic, social, enriching, small class size. Can't say enough about the school, the staff, and the children.
I feel Rainbow of Knowledge has a small and dedicated staff that gives individual attention to the children's needs. With the teacher to student ratio so low it really allows the teachers to know the child and meet their specific needs.
