The principal at los nietos middle school had no choice but to focus on disipline, being her first year at our school safety was a major issue. My son had one of the best years in school. There are only 2 teachers that were new this year and all of the rest have been there for more than five years. I know the gate children were clustered together to ensure motivation!! not counting all of electives and programs the children recieved this year. 65% of all the teachers have masters degrees. With the right leadership this school has potential to be great. Mrs. Duncan was a great leader, unfortunately district decided to send her to work a desk in district.

The principal at Los Nietos only focuses on the trouble makers and does not reward the kids who try and get good grades. The school has a high turnover rate for teachers. The classes are basic and the gifted kids are not motivated and not pushed to their potential
