Baywood Elementary School

Our whole family loves Baywood! My daughter's teachers have been EXCELLENT: kind, professional, well organized, and great communicators. The principal, Mr. J, quickly gets to know each student; he is very caring and involved with the students on a daily basis. Every week there is an all-school assembly with Mr. J presenting a word of the week (positive values we all want to develop) and recognizing students and teachers who are doing great things. There is strong parental support with many amazing PTA leaders. We appreciate the diversity (racial, socioeconomic, physical disabilities, adoption) and all the kids *truly* get along. I've never seen or heard of teasing and there is a warm, supportive environment among the adults and the kids.

I think that Baywood is a great school. My daughter has gone there for 4 years and each year her teachers never failed to impress me. The fact that they have a school choir is an added bonus beacause it is so enjoyable for both students and parents alike.

My daughter attended Baywood from 2nd through 5th grade. We have since moved out of state and she attends a private school. We miss Baywood each and every day. The principal is amazing. I cannot say enough good things about him or Baywood.

Wow After 2 years of homeschool we have our daughter here for 5th grade. We love this great community school. The principle is very kind and gifted with children. everyone seems very happy with this school. Our daughter is happy and thriving!

Baywood Elementary is a fabulous school. I have been extremely pleased with the dedication of the teachers, and particularly the principal. The teachers at Baywood are more concerned with children than test scores.
