no matter how hard times are getting, the teachers still love their pupils and work hard to teach them. Parents are encouraged to participate in events and information of any sort is open for parents who have questions.

Berenda has an amazing staff and they truly care about the kids. Both my sons, now in high school, attended Berenda from K - 6th grades and I believe it made all the difference in the way they are today. I know they made all the difference for my youngest son, because when he needed the extra services they were there for him and today he is an honor roll student that is headed for great things.

Berenda school has been a positive atmosphere for our kids. Parent participation is high and the teachers in general are greatly concerned about the kids. However, I feel that too much emphasis is put on testing. I feel that the kids are not getting the basics down good before they move on. This is not the teachers fault, it is the State system that is not good. If the kids do not have a strong basic foundation, how are they supposed to continue with increasing challenges?

I think Berenda has the best group of faculty members around. They support parents and children and they really do care what is the best for the children. They are attentive to the needs of children. They try to keep misbehavior to a minimum and at the same time make kids feel that can come and talk if they need to.
