This is our 3rd year at B.E. and it's been great! My child requires special needs and all of his teachers have worked beautifully with him. The principal and staff has been very supportive and caring. He is florishing this year and it has taken the "village" to get to where we are today! Excellent education, support, school spirit and patriotism! Look forward to my others attending through 8th grade!!

Brock Elliot school is my favorite for one smple reason... the principal, Mrs Rugar supports youth baseball and allows the children that play in the league to have lifetime experences. She allows the league to grow and with that comes valuable non-educational life skills. She is a comprehensive community leader and that is why everyone that comes in conact with Brock Elliot school is a Champion!

Can't say enough good things about the school. Our kids thrive there with all those programs (choir, violin, gate...) and they love their teachers. Every year they say 'this is the best teacher I have ever had'. Well, if a 7th Grader still loves to go to school, then it must be a great school !!! Our community has been hit very hard in this economy, but PTA and the community are growing tighter every year. There you see, that money isn't all there is, but the input from students, parents and teachers together.

Brock Elliott has the best teachers and staff I've ever met. They recently received their iep score which was 825 up 20 points from last year. They have many programs for all of the students needs and do everything they can to make sure all of their students are successful.

Overall Brock Elliott is a very good school. Many of the teachers care about the success of the students and are willing to go the extra mile to help. My child was having trouble and his teacher called once a month making sure I was aware with what was going on, and if I had any questions. Like any school though you have to ask for help to receive help.

The ability to truly assess if a child is ready for the next grade level is not shown. Teachers seem more interested in passing children that are not ready than holding them back for better eduacation. Seems as though there is a hidden agenda. Why would you make a child move forward, only to have them struggle later in life. The support processes in place do not seem to meet the actual needs of some children. When reviewing results, consistency does not seem to be in place from teacher to teacher nor student to student.

Good school, but lost alot of the better teachers in 05. As most public schools now, there tends to be available to children below level then to those more advanced. They could use more supervision on the play yards.

There is a consistent lack of supervision on the playgrounds. The speech therapists are overworked, underpaid, and the children who need it are suffering because of this. The principal is rude, pushy, and has an arrogant demeanor and sends replacements to meetings scheduled for her. The school does not keep a list of curriculum that it uses and doesn't offer this information up when requested. The kids are academically doing better than most in the region and there are some extracurricular activities.
