My daughter attends Morello Park Elementary and I love this school! She has Ms. Gliatto and my daughter loves her! She asked me to request that she has Ma. Gliatto for the rest of her years left at Morello! She was sad when I told her it wasn't possible! Ms. Gliatto has made my daughter open up and come out of her shell!!! The school is amazing and stays that way because of all the parents who are involve and care! Lisa in the office is always o sweet and helpful! The school all around in amazing and I am glad my daughter and my 2 other children will attend this school once they are old enough! I wouldn't Want Morello Park to be any other way than the way it is now!!!

Despite budget cuts over the last five years, the teachers and staff of Morello Park continue to pursue excellence in the level of education they are providing. Multiple California Distinguished School awards and consistent high test scores say a lot, but the teachers my daughter has had over the last 5 years have all been great.

This school is put together with such amazing teachers, staff, parents and children. We have a community school that sticks together and helps out when needed. Our parent participation is the best I have ever seen, it shows that we want to contiune to build our school to be the best it can be. Our pricipal is the rock that keeps it all together, constantly being a face that everyone knows, with a plan to keep us growning.

The teachers really care about teaching their students. The principal is wonderful. He knows every child by name and they respect him yet fear him, which is needed now a days. This is a positive place for children to learn.

Morello is a great school. It's not too big so the school and the community (i.e. parents) can have a lot of interaction which really helps to make the educational environment for the students top notch. Most of the teachers are very solid and caring. The campus is clean and well maintained.

My son absolutely loves going to school at Morello Park. The staff is excellent and very committed to providing the best education possible. It is great having him in a school where the teachers appreciate and ask for feedback from the parents regarding what the children are learning. I look forward to the many years ahead at Morello Park.

Morello Park is a very good school. The education is at the top, the teachers are outstanding, and the parent participation is amazing! My 1st child, now in third grade, has been here since kindergarten, and I have truly appreciated each and every teacher she has had. I have another in kindergarten and I feel very safe and happy to send both of my children to school each day.

Morello Park is a great school! The teachers are great, and it is obvious that the children are getting a top notch education. We hand picked this school specifically for these reasons. I can not say enough great things about Mrs. Martinez, my daughter's kindergarten teacher. She has such a dedication and love for teaching you can see it in the kid's faces every single day. Mr. Cammack the principal is great too - he knows every single child's name, is outside interacting with both the kids and parents and not locked away in his office all day. He is truly involved.

Morello Park is a fantastic school. We have a no-nonsense, get it done principal who cares for the kids, always has a smile on his face, yet holds teachers, parents and kids accountable. Our teaching staff is quite talented, devoted, and caring. Despite budget cuts and the possibility of increased class sizes, they serve our students exceptionally.

Martinez is primarily a blue collar town. With recent budget cuts, our school and community have been pulling together to raise money to keep our class sizes down. Parents that have been hit hard by the economy have been working hard to help Morellp Park. Even the teachers at Morello Park that will not have jobs next year have given their time and money to help our school. Morello Park's teachers are dedicated and care about the children. The parents are actively involved in the school. These are just some of the things that make Morello Park shine.

The parent community is so supportive of new students/families, the PTA is awesome, the principal is great. He sets a tone of learning and support that allows teachers to be their best. Mrs. Gliatto, my son's first grade teacher is one of the finest I've ever met. She has realy lovingly helped my son grow and has brought out in him a joy of learning. He can't wait to find out what more he can learn. Thanks to all the staff!

Even with budget shortfalls in California. MPE is strong and has the educator force and parent force to still offer the kids a quality education. We are blessed to be so lucky to attend here.

When we moved to our neighborhood we never realized what a gold mine in an elementary school we had found. The principal is wonderful, all of the teachers really care about the kids. The PTA is strong. My son is very proud when he talks about his school so the spirit of MPE is contagious!

I have never seen such a dedicated group of teachers, administrators and parents. Everyone works together to give the kids an excellent education, a safe and fun environment, appropriate technology, and lots of exracurricular activities. When we moved to this city, we chose the location of our home so that we would be close to this school.

Morello Park is a fantastic school for my grandson. The parents are so involved, the teachers concentrate on each and every student's learning pattern. Schools have come a long way since my children went to school. I'm actually having fun the second time around even with all the homework and family projects!

I would like to update our rating today by saying that we have excelent extracurricular activities and our current principal takes safety and security very seriously. He personally walkes all the way to the corner to assure that the children are making it safetly to the crossing guard. He prides himself with knowing every child by name and he has only been at our school since the beginning of the school year. The quality of our teachers are the best with me participating in activities after school and on their days off. Morello is a shinning star in our district.

We have the best teachers and staff at our school. We have so much parent participation that shows how much we love our school. I will be sad when my oldest graduates from Morello Park. It has been such a great experience for our whole family.

My son attended Morello Park from K through 5 graduating this year, 2009. I have nothing but high priase for the Morello Park staff. The principal, teahcers, staff and parents are all actively engaged. I would also like to parise the on-site Woodbridge 'day care' facility. In the safety and discipline catagory, I only gave 4 stars because, as one other reviewer mentioned, the school should investigate weakness in its security. I won't go in to what I feel the weaknesses are for fear someone will exploit them, but if someone from the school administration wants to contact me, I will be happy to expand on the subject. That said, I am not aware of the school ever having any issues with security for the children. My son thoroughly enjoyed his 6 years at Morello Park and was visibly sad when teh school year ended.

Mrs. Spencer was my son's 1st grade teacher. She is a wonderful teacher. I volunteered 1 afternoon a week in the class to assist with Math labs. I found Mrs. Spencer to be a very nice person, patient and very good with the children. I continue to be impressed with the school and staff. To get my son in to MOrelly, I waited in line from 5:00 PM until 8:00 AM the following day. It was well worth the wait! (Next time I will bring a chair.)

Morello park is truley one of the best and safest schools around. Our previous principal Mrs. Huft was an outstanding stong and caring principal and with her gone our great school is really lacking in quality leadership. The teachers are outstanding and my child is very happy there. The school is always clean and most importantly they have a zero tolerance for bulling.

Morello Park has an excellent staff of teachers, headed by a principal who has wonderful people skills and a caring and cooperative attitude. The campus is only 11 years old and in very good condition. The PTA offers tremendous support to the programs, classrooms, and teachers at the school. Parent volunteers abound. The school offers positive reinforcement for good behaviour, reading, and math skills.

Although many programs have been cut, this school remains a great neighborhood choice. It's tough to get because of demand so plan on spending the night in line for registration! I did and I don't regret it.

Math and reading programs seem to be the latest and the greatest, kid friendly and interesting. Music, PE and Science offered once every 3 days, art is incorporated in to daily class. Parent involvement is very high at this school, enabling extra reading programs. I'm very happy with this school. I have kids in K and 3.

I have two children in this school and one entering kindergarten next year. I love this school. The teachers are great. They really are involved with your childs educational needs. The Principal is always available for concerns from the parents, the kids feel very confortable expressing themselves with her. The parents are very involved with the day to day efforts of academic excellence. Great PTA, lots of fundraising activities that are both fun for the kids, while contributing to classroom needs of the teachers. We'll always have great memories of this school.

This is a great school! A great partnership between parents and faculty. This school houses dedicated teachers, not 'collect the check' type of teachers. Our children will leave Morello Park elementary prepare for the educational challenges that await them.
