Anna McKenney Intermediate School

Some of the teachers and students hav attitude problems. so that is my only complaint along with the fact that the curriculum is so low that i cant not get an A and the elective choices are horrible

when i went there there was alot of drug use and drug selling there....t is a great school but the drugs there are bad

I am former student of Anna McKenny. It is a great school and the teachers are outstanding! I am currently going to college to become a sixth grade science teacher. I hope to one day be lucky enough to work with the teachers who once taught and inspired me.

McKenney is an amazing school that had in the past labeled with problems. A new administrative team and an invigorated staff have worked diligently to improve this school. Within 5 years McKenney will be one of the top schools in California.

I just joined this site, what a shock compared to other schools were not doing so good at Mckenny. Is this due to funding , materials needed, volunteers? Please let me know how I can help I have joined the pto and have not heard one thing. I live in district 10 near the Butte County line. So I am not in the position to read bulliten boards, or to speak with other parents. How can I bridge the gap? I am a great aunt and am alot older than most of the parents, but remember with age also comes wisdom from life experiences.
