My son has been going there since one year and we have been amazed to see how much he has learned. The teachers are great and give each child personal attention and care. We absolutely recommend this school to every parent

My son has been going to Milpitas montessori for 3 years now (since Pre-K). He absolutely loves it and as a parent I am very happy with the learning. This school is not as expensive as other name brands, but the teaching staff, curriculum, and quality of materials used is at par. My son loved Ms Chi, Mrs Moorman and loves Mrs Kunche. Mrs Kunche is very strict with kids and I think it helps with discipline with boys. On the downside, I wish this school had some musical or sports activities. I think kids need music and sports as well in addition to studies at this age.

My Son started the school on 03/13, and he excelled in all aspect within couple of months. His academics(reading, writing, math, science) got lot better, he also excelled in arts and general behavior.

It is an excellent school. My kid has studied here for 2 years.. preschool and KG. She has learnt speaking in english well, we are Indians with Hindi spoken at home. Her Maths and reading have developed very well. She can independently work on things, these are skills totally developed in the school. She loves the school and misses it at home too :)

Larry Page and Sergey Brin [founders of Google, Inc.] said their success did not come from Stanford but from Montessori. I am now a believer of that statement. What is unique with Milpitas Montessori School is that they combine strong academics in a nurturing environment. Indeed, I truly think children should be encouraged to improve their cognitive capacities in an environment that encourages personal growth. I highly recommend Milpitas Montessori school. Of course she was pushed to perform in Maths, English, Science but she also learnt practical life, philosophy and surely a good art of living too. My older child still tells me how her teachers were nice and how she could confide her ideas about the world. Even my other daughter [who attended pre-school] speaks fondly of her teachers as they had a short but profound impact on her. I was very sad this school was not offering a 3rd Grade, otherwise my child would have continued with Milpitas Montessori School, along with her younger sister.

I have two girls, both went to Milpitas Montessori from preschool (3) to second grade. To us, the important parts are 1. We trust the school and the teachers -> teachers are kind, caring, experienced. School staffs/policies are flexible and reasonable. 2. Sufficient focus on academics -> to us, schools like Challengers for kids at this age group do more harms than goods. This school is about 1 year ahead of the public school, Regardless, the important thing is they let the kids learn at their own paces and ways, not just trying to cram down as much as possible. 3. Nice environment -> good facilities and play grounds.

My two kids both attended Milpitas Montessory School. We are very satisfied with our experience: teachers are very attentive, kids have great opportunity to learn/play and develop social skills. I have no hesitation recommending this schoold and would keep my kids there beyond 2nd grade if that option was available.

This is an excellent school for your child. All the teachers are very loving and kind. Additionally, the academics are superb. My child was reading Cat in the Hat books in Pre-school and moved on Curious George by kindergarden. The school teaching style with an open classroom set up encourages teamwork. The curriculum is clever and motivates the children to want to learn and be excited about learning. The owners are kind and compassionate. Too bad they only go through 2nd Grade.

My daughter has gone preschool here since she was 3 years old. She is now attending there for kindergarden. She is really enjoying the school. The teachers are wonderful and kind. They teach kids individually according to their own pace. Small class size. I am extremely satisfy with my decision to have my daughter attending this private school.

The teaching staff and standard of education is exceptional at Milpitas Montessori. As an Asian parent this is very important to me. However, as a working parent, it is as important that my children are cared for and kept safe. On my younger son s first day of preschool, nap time had not gone well. I found out later that a teacher had rocked him to sleep. Then there are the little extras. My children always take a home lunch, but there have been many a day, when the teachers have given them an extra piece of fruit, a salad or milk, just because they asked! If you are looking for a reasonably priced, private school with well supervised before and after school care options, a blended Montessori approach at the higher grade levels and a small class size, you should explore what the Milpitas Montessori School has to offer.

My son has been going to Milpitas Montessori since he was 2 years 8 months old, he's now almost 4 years old. He had gone from not wanting to go to school at the beginning, to asking to go to school even on the weekends.:-) The teachers are caring and are serious about teaching. I see great developemnts in my son's logical and creative thinking. I definitely recommend this school.'

My second-grade child is and has been at this school since she was in the preschool. My family moved out of town last year and I debated moving her to another school. But I decided to keep her there and drive the extra distance because of the wonderful teachers and staff. Since she was in preschool, the teachers have always taken special care of her (e.g., consoling her when she cried each morning in preschool). They are also very accomodating, (e.g., offering my child a school lunch if she didn't seem to like the home lunch I made for her). These 'special touches' were not the things I looked for when I was looking for a school, but its these touches that made me decide to stay. It's worth every mile.

I wouldn't recommend this school for younger kids (2-4 yrs old). Too many older kids are mixed with younger kids in the after school daycare hours, and younger kids get hurt easily.

Most of the teachers in this school bring their own kids in. Needless to say, they focus on their own kids most of the time. That is the reason why I pulled my kids out.

My child has been attending the school for almost a year. Nice school overall - I like the respectful approach towards children, letting children set their own pace in learning and individual attention. The fact that school assigns homework is not in accordance with Montessori principles though. Too much push for other paid activities - several picture days a year, lots of classes that we have to pay extra for, etc., Also a personal pet peeve of mine - reciting the Pledge of Allegiance by kids. I believe small kids don;t really understand the meaning behind it and say it 'blindly' which is, in my opinion is kinda disrespectful to the idea.
