Bathgate Elementary School

I have two children attending Bathgate and we are completely happy with this school. Excellent teachers, involved parent community, wonderful PTA, academics are top-rate. The principal is fabulous - a strong, caring leader who has made numerous improvements since her arrival 2 1/2 years ago. We would not want to be anywhere else!

Can't say enough wonderful things about Bathgate Elementary! It's our fourth year at the school, and we couldn't be happier. The teachers are fantastic. There is a great sense of community between the parent particiation, the PTA, and the fabulous staff. Our principal has done an incredible job since she joined us in 2009. Her dedication to our school/students is insurmountable.

One of the best elementary schools around. Despite the tremendous budget cuts, this school continues to excel. Bathgate thrives because of their excellent teachers, staff, PTA, and superb leadership of a dedicated, warm and caring Principal.

Both of my kids are attending Bathgate right now. They have strong academic programs as well as a great PTA. My son started kindergarten barely reading words, and he could read magic tree house with little help before he even started 1st grade. My daughter also learned a lot in the pre-k class. More than what they learned at the private schools before.

Please note the last positive reviews for this school were in 2008. BES used to be the ultimate and has fallen from grace. Poor leadership, teachers who should have been retired, no discipline for unruly students. A Principal with her own personal agenda....very disappointing.

I have had children at this school for 13 years, and have been extremely satisfied with the education and the environment. This school prides itself on a stable and happy staff, as well as an extremely active and supportive parent community/PTA.

Bathgate is an excellent school! I have one child who graduated from Bathgate and one still attending and both were excited to go to school everyday. The Principal and Teachers are incredible and very dedicated in helping each student achieve personal growth. The PTA and the parents involvement is exceptional. The kids are having fun learning and their continuous achievements are reflected every year in standardized test results. Bathgate is a Calif. Distinguished and National Blue Ribbon awarded school. I am very happy to have my children attend Bathgate.

Bathgate Elementary is a fabulous school. The teachers are dedicated, warm and passionate. The level of parental involvement is extremely high, resulting in many enrichment programs and opportunities to help children develop into wonderful future citizens!
