If I could give zero stars I would. Chrysler's teachers are just collecting pay checks. I have three kids who go there. One who's teacher told us he can't teach our child. And my honor roll student who's teacher just teaches her the minimum instead of pushing her to the next level. It's very frustrating that on both ends the school is sub par.

I totally agree with the prior comments about Chrysler Elem. Both my children go to this school and the lack of guidance and teacher participation is at a loss and the foremost instruction on the basic skill's are a loss both my kids are being thrown threw school both are at a wits end for math and spelling and teacher's aren't helping I am looking for a better school so if anyone reads this Chrysler is not a wise option!!!!

This school is well rounded when it comes to praise and recognition of our childrens efforts ! But the PTA needs some work. The staff in the office are excellent! The ladies should be awarded themselves for thier great efforts in keeping the kids safe and responsible for their actions. Thanks ladies!

Educational Standards are not the highest. Many with learning difficulties. The school is trying to improve on a daily basis. Overall OK school.

Chrysler has great teachers but is laacking in the area of administration. The pricipal has been a disappointment.

My two sons attended this school and it was adequate, but the sixth grade teachers need to prepare the students for junior high better. The increase in homework is overwhelming, the junior high teachers are also overwhelmed by their increased class size, our sixth graders need more homework.

There is a 6th grade teacher named Mrs. Bryant and she is fantastic! My doughter has never enjoyed school befor in her life. This last year she could not wait to get to school in Mrs. Bryants class. The Principal seemed to be a good team leader as well.

I am concerned with the quality of substitute teachers hired for this school. My child has attended this school since K and in K & 1st his primary teacher went on maternity leave. K wasn't too big of a concern. However 1st grade turned out to be very traumatic for him. He had 2 subs after his primary teacher went out on leave. Upon asking the 1st grade sub at the last P/T conf we were informed that he was right where he should be. Doing really well. He was promoted to the 2nd grade. This sub-teacher also singled out 'super' and 'not-so super achievers.' Self-esteem was brought down by him in so many areas. The 1st P/T conf in 2nd grade we learned that he was not where he should be in reading. The 2nd grade teacher was wonderful in her quest to have the kids learn. She worked extremely hard w/him (and all of the kids she taught) and pushed to get him into after-school programs for help in reading. She was always in contact with us as to his progress. He attended summer school via her advice and our choice. However, this seemed to be fruitless as there appeared to be more math than reading lessons for the class. In fact, he is good with math. Timed math packets were sent home w/him? My husband and I believe that if a child is to attend summer school to acquire help/assistance in his/her unsteady area that it should be the primary focus. If not the only area of focus.(I learned from another parent that the same thing applied to their child who attended summer school. She was there for reading.) Needless to say we took him out as his reading did not improve from the state of where he was at when the regular school year ended. I would have him read to me and there was not any change. None! The 2nd grade teacher he had, I/we are very grateful to have had her as his teacher. We are grandparents raising our grandson and through all the years of our own children growing up there has never been a teacher so dedicated to the developement of children's minds, self-esteem, etc. This teacher/person is truly gifted. She is doing it for the children. I believe she should be nominatied and chosen as 'Teacher of the Year.' Our grandson loves her.
