I am a former student, and when I was there I had all the best teachers you can imagine. Not only did they teach you what they were supposed to teach you, but they helped you believe in yourself and your ability to get a better education to become the person you can imagine. There are students and teacher alike who came from many different backgrounds, cultures, and race. Being at a school like this reminds you that although your community might be small, there is alot of love and support and a big world out there that needs to be explored beyond the school gates.

Although Montebello High school may have a vast quantity of students, it is not refutable to say that it does provide the most education that it could offer. AP classes are available for students who strive for college and are taught by qualified teachers.

I am a previous student from Montebello High School. I determine that the instructors & counselors were not as involved with the students due to over crowding.

I have been a teacher here for 10 years and have enjoyed it. The students are great and the staff and administration is wonderful. The only negative is that the school is growing.

Montebello High School has been a positive experience for my son. He struggled early in academic career, but at Montebello was able to participate in a program that really helped him. They have a program , Futures, aimed at helping kids who need a different environment. Without that program, my son would not have graduated.

Great school for advanced students, scores don't reflect the possibilities for all students.

This is a school with excellent instructors and leadership. It is a large campus located in the suburbs of a large city and has a diverse ethnic population. While Montebello High School may not have the highest API scores, the faculty and staff are always attempting to motivate students to do well and parents to get involved in their son or daughter's education. There are many opportunities and activities on campus, including sports, music, theater, and a wide array of clubs. Academically, the school offers a large number of Honors and AP courses and is making great strides to incorporate computers into the classroom and curriculum.
