Repetto is an amazing school! The teachers are strict but creative and the principal works hard and has a smile all the time. Parent support is very strong.

Some staff show cleavage. You let your boys goes to school to see that? Lots of teachers wears sandal to school. Doesn't anybody sees the unprofessional clothing? Why kids have to wear uniform and they dress like street ladies? Office staffs are definitely rude and uneducated. They ask for donation all the time, act like they're so poor but upgrading on plants but parents have to buy all the supplies. What donation for? They built the great wall of china making it more difficult for parents to go in the office, other school isn't like that. This IS NOT a private school. Their eyes is in their forehead.

Most teachers in this school are caring teachers. Some of them are strict in a good way. I would rather having my children get tough life in school than be sorry stepping into the societ hardly finding any job. Life is tough and competitive, that's something they need to learn in their early age. Funny thing is I hear comment from my kids like " OMG, she is strict, but i learn a lot from her..." . Good job.

Absolutely terrible school! We have three children and have moved several times so we have experience with many different schools both in California and Michigan. This is by far the worst school we have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The staff is mean to the students and unreasonably strict to the point of ridiculousness. There is terrible racism from both the staff and the students. You not only have to worry about bullying from the students but even more so from the staff. If you have children PLEASE do yourself a favor and DO NOT move into this school district.

For a school with such high rating, it is disappointed to know that staffs/teachers disciplined the students by forcing them to pick up trash. I was told that this was the main discpline method. Doesn't the staffs/teachers know that there are better methods of disciplining the kids?

My daughter currently is in kindergarten at Repetto. She is doing very well in her academics. She loved being in the special art class. Mrs. Young and Principal Mrs. Gaither are very nice and caring. All the kindergarten teachers are very nice. She is looking forward to starting 1st grade.

my daughter is special needs and went to repetto for 2years. this school is byfar the best i have ever came across, from the education to the wonderfull staff. janaye loved it here. mrs freng is awsome.we were truly sad to have to move away.

I love Repetto, and I'm going to miss it when I go to Mark Keppel. The people are great here, especially the teachers. The 8th grade teachers are the best, they definately made our year the most memorable. Thank you ! (=

My son is an 8th grader and is getting sad to leave Repetto. He loves this school. He will miss the teachers and staff. I was worried about him not crossing stage, but his teachers and Mrs. Gather have been checking up on him all the time. The teachers are really supportive, and I am impressed that the principal would take such an interest in his progress. When I was a student, I don't remember ever talking with the principal (for good ro bad reasons). I'm glad she is firm with the kids. They know they cannot get away with anything with her. I know my student will be okay. I hope he gets the same kind of support when he goes to Mark Keppel HS.

Repetto has strong teachers that collaborate with each other, willing and ready to teach children. However, they need parents to foster discipline at home in order for teachers to implement their educational plan.

Repetto is the best school my child has attended out of St. Stephens Martyr, Golden Springs Elementary School, South Pointe Middle School and Ynez. My child has really improve after going to this school.

About the tests


In 2012-2013 California used the California Standards Tests (CSTs) to test students in English language arts in grades 2 through 11; math in grades 2 through 7; science in grades 5, 8 and 10; and history-social science in grades 8 and 11. Middle and high school students also took subject-specific CSTs in math and science, depending on the course in which they were enrolled. The CSTs are standards-based tests, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of California. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the tests.

The different student groups are identified by the California Department of Education; if there are fewer than 10 students in a particular group in a school, the state doesn't report data for that group.
