This school is behind, i was a student here, and it was really bad, the classes are to small, when to graduate from 8th and go into high school its way to much of a shock, the class size seem to go on forever. But when I left and went to another school i realized this school is to behind in its academics, You might think its because of it was a new school, new friends, it wasn't, I already knew a few kids their from Crossroads, so the first year at any new private school from this school would be a big struggle, even if the school isn't new to you. While i was at that school I was outside reading a story about Greek myths, then a teacher came right up to me, took the book, and i got into trouble, why, cause of reading a story about myths, the same thing happened to me while reading Harry Potter. It was like are you trying to encourage reading, or not? Also the teachers, I was being nice to a girl in my class by patting her on the head, the teacher thought i was hitting her, so i got suspended for two weeks, all because of a teacher who basically had no idea what is going on. DON'T TRUST THIS SCHOOL! They keep so much secrets from parents and students. I would say more but
Morgan Hill's best kept secret!!!! Inspirational and caring teachers in a wholesome and safe environment that encourages all children to be and do their best. An awesome music program for all grades led by a world class music teacher, Mike Rubino (retired from Live Oak). An amazing new Art program for all grades. A new healthy lunch program... the list goes on an on... I could not be happier as a parent of a thriving third grader...

I was so disappointed in this school. I had high hopes in the beginning and I was very involved in the school. The classroom was disorganized, one of the teachers was often out of it, didn't do her job-I was constantly having to run down information she was supposed to provide. The discipline was poor and the kids often ignored the teachers directions. I had to tell them to sit down and be quiet. My child consistently fell farther and farther behind and I had to supplement her education outside the class. It was also quite obvious that there is an "in-crowd" and if you aren't there, you are often ignored. By March my daughter fought going to school every day and would get sick often and come home. She became very depressed about school. Now she is excited to go to her new school

I made a review in September, but after hearing of the changes. This school has a great chance of performing amazingly. I hope for nothing but the best. Truly the best place for your child in ALL of Morgan Hill. Thank you CCS for all you have poured into my kids. I am forever grateful.

This is the first year my two children have attended Crossroads. The staff is amazing and very loving toward all the children. The teachers provide each child with individual attention which is possible due to the small class size. The parents are very involved and willing to do what they can to make Crossroads a wonderful school. The school and church are in need of some repairs and the school administration, PTF and church are working cooperatively to accomplish this. Additionally, the principle is very approachable and listens to the parents' concerns and addressing them appropriately. Despite the overall appearance of the school, I believe Crossroads is a great school and it's a blessing to have my children in a school that I know the staff has their best interest at heart and provides them with the best learning environment possible.

Crossroads Christian School is the best kept secret in South County. The buildings are old and the budget is low, but the school's pure-hearted dedication to the educational, spiritual, physical and emotional growth of the children is priceless. In 1st grade my son read at a 4th grade comprehension level. Now in 3rd grade he's doing all academics at the level I see our 4th grade public school friends and neighbor's children doing. Every lesson has a moral and ethical Christian emphasis. Class sizes rarely exceed 20. The 1-on-1 time these kids get is phenomenal. The lunch program leaves much to be desired, but that can be fixed with a lunch box and food from home. The staff is positive and encouraging, great role models. My son is excelling. He is so happy there, and both my husband and I are so grateful that we decided to send him.

I 100% agree with the post below, the recent glowing reviews do not align with the opinions being openly discussed by parents at the school. They may be simply an attempt at "damage control" backed by the administration. The administration is running the school into the ground and has been since they became in control. Their lack of action and leadership has caused the amount of students enrolled to shrink to half of what it was several years ago. The favoritism the administration shows to their family members would make you think they are more interested in what is best for them and not the school/students. On a positive note there are still some great people (teachers, parents & students) involved in the school. I wish them all the very best in their attempts to get the message through to the administration. We are moving on.....Goodbye Crossroads

Crossroads has been a wonderful learning experience for our daughter and we have enrolled our son for the coming year. The teachers truly care about the accomplishments of each individual child and the parents. The parents are very supportive and involved as well. The spiritual development in our daughter as been a welcome surprise. She has really embraced that part of her education.

Crossroads provides a wonderful learning environment for every student. Teachers celebrate the strengths of the individual child while stressing the importance of high academic achievement. Administration is committed to seeing students grow in academics, social skills and spiritual life.

We have been at the school for several years now. I have seen my children develop in their character, values and excel and also be challenged at their school work. The teachers truly care about each student and want to see each student develop in these areas. The caring environment and Christian values is a huge reason why we are at CCS. Administration has its issues, but I am optimistic that changes will be made soon to better the school and grow the school to it's full potential.

My kids really enjoy the school, but I don't believe the education they are receiving is really all it is hyped to be. There is no proof of their test scores, teachers aren't always accredited, school is NOT accredited from my understanding, and the administration is horrible. It has great potential, but I have decided my child is not returning. For the price, they should offer so much more, and be able to show the money spent is worth it. It's a great Christian environment most of the time, but pety things detract from the ovreall experience. My child won't be back I'm sorry to say.

Administration is horrible. School is run by fear. Manipulation is used at the highest levels and blame is placed in order to keep people in check. Teacher's try their best, but are thrown a curve ball every year, sometimes 2-3x per year. Combined classes where parents aren't alerted until the day before school starts, administration hiring family members.... it's not a good place.

Crossroads provides our children the academics that the other schools in Morgan Hill simply could not provide.

I have finally found it after years of searching.......a safe, nurturing environment where academic standards are high and where differences are accepted. Crossroads is child centered with emphasis on each student's abilities, successes, and unique attributes.
