My daughter attends kindergarten @ monte vista Ms Pratts class. She is a very kind, sweet and loving teacher. She envloves the parents and keeps them informed with anything new. I also enjoy how involved the principles are in everything that happens at the school. I look forward to the future my children has here at MOnte VIsta.
My daughter attended kindergarten at Monte Vista and my son was there for second and third. They both loved their teachers, as did I. They were friendly, easy to talk to and approachable and were willing to help with whatever problems might arise. The principal and office staff are very friendly. Unfortunately our family had to move. My kids miss the school very much and still talk about it often. Great school!
Our child has just started the 2011/2012 year, so far we are pleased with her teacher and the school. Hoping this continues throughout the years.
I started my son at this school late in his 3rd grade year. I can say that his teacher were warm and very involved. In this area I could not ask for more yet there is one down side I have seen with this school. I feel the administration...mainly and blonde lady and a redhead lady that work in the office, are very rude. ( sorry I really don't know there names, the blonde may be Michelle?) I have seen the redhead lady scream at the kids during dismissal duty. That is my only complaint many other parents have agreed that that is a down side yet the teachers are fantastic.
Moved from another state and my kids really enjoyed the school. I have talked to my both of my sons teachers and they are very involved. Administration needs a little work, but it is still relatively a new school.
All the teachers are top notch. Their success has a lot to do with a parents involvement. We as parents have to take an active role in the education and developemnt of our children and not leave it up to others to do for us.
Very disappointed with the administration. The teachers are good, but the rules are inconsistent, and the school is unsafe. My child had a very bad experience there. I do NOT recommend it to anyone, check the other ones before enroll your child there.
My children have had an outstanding experience at Monte Vista, great teachers and administration. Would highly reccomend this school.
Very disappointed by the the teachers my children had this past year. My daughters teacher didn't want to teach the grade she was teaching and it was was very obvious. Very, very disappointing. Try to get info. about the teacher that has been chosen for your child from other parents if possible. We could not do this as we were new to the area and didn't know anyone. Will not be back to this school. Concerned and very involved parent
Monte Vista's success is because the high level of commitment of teacher staff and parents. The children are blessed with great teachers offering outstanding education. In addition, monthly educational assemblies, after school band and choir programs along with many other school events contribute to the education of the students. Monte Vista students rule!
