Vista Murrieta is a great high school. My daughter graduated in 2010, and my youngest is now a Senior. Overall the experience has been wonderful for both of them. Highlights and strengths include their sports programs, (some of the coaches are simply outstanding), the Golden Alliance Band, and Character Counts motto. The AP classes are challenging, and students are well prepared for college academics. The only weakness I have experienced is that the school is quite large for a high school and sometimes it is difficult to get in touch with counselors/staff if you have a question. For students who are doing well and don't need a lot of extra help I think this is the best high school in the Murrieta/Temecula area in all aspects.
My son played Freshman Football last year and also Wrestled. I haven't seen one aspect of this school that I didn't like. In this school... involvement is key... Join clubs (especially the Nations number 1 ranked BBC fan club!! they are amazing)... Academically they have great resources and the teachers have been great for my 1st son to go to the school. I have 3 more children that will be following!!
I have been so impressed by the leadership of Vista Murrieta High School since my oldest daughter graduated in 2006. Each year it just gets better.
This school is the best. The students are very involved. There is an extra curricular activity for almost everything. Students love learning because teachers make it fun and enjoyable.
Great extra curriculum activities.
its an absolutly great shcool with the best GPA all arround and the best sprots teams.
I absolutely love Vista. Everyone there is so welcoming and all of the counselors definitely work very hard in ensuring that every student's year there is the best. I will be very sad to leave but I'll always take with me the memories. Go Broncos!
I could not be more pleased with the teachers and curriculum. The marching band has instilled discipline and pride in my son. Balanced schedule keep him busy but not overwhelmed. Teachers are great and like to see parents involved with their students. I could not pick a better school for my son.
We love Vista Murrieta. My children have attended private school all of their life. This is our first experience with public school. We have been so happy at Vista and my children love school and are doing well. The teachers are very accommodating and will come in early for extra help. We're sorry we didn't do it sooner.
This school has provided me with so many opportunities to learn, grow, and just be myself. Vista Murrieta is an amazing school with a warm and welcoming campus to all. The school is amazingly united, with very little cliques and sub-groups disagreeing. It is no unusual to see a band member hanging with a baseball player, or the future valedictorian chatting with a choir member. The school provides the necessary support to students to grow, learn, and enjoy being in campus. In just four short years, the school has blossomed into a second home for its student. I highly recommend it to anyone considering an interdistrict or intradistrict transfer.
