I cannot say enough great things about First Christian. We have 2 children enrolled in very different classes. One is a group of tightly clustered students of similar learning styles who have been able to go farther and deeper in their studies due to the class size and Teacher dedication. The other group is diverse in both temperament and ability. The same class size and excellence in teaching allowed this group to not simply cover the required material but to have the needs of each individual met and accommodated. In this case there were 5 different Math programs being taught in a single class. This sense of Excellence and Dedication continues into the school's embracing of sports, extracurriculars and an uncompromising commitment to strong character. This is easily the most complete elementary education being offered in The Napa Valley. While we wish we could find this in the public schools, we can't and this has certainly been worth the expense.

I am so thankful that I have FCS for my children. My daughter started FCS when it opened in 1998. She attended K-8 and and transitioned easily into honors classes at a local public highschool. My son is now in the 4th grade and is excelling! I love the fact that we have small class sizes too. No matter what level your child is at acidemically they get one on one attention. No falling through the cracks here. The kids love the Art, Technology and Foreign Language classes that they are in. We are a small but growing school with a very helpful and caring "family" environment. The leadership surpasses all! Would recommend to anyone.

First Christian School teaches more than just the basics. Wrapped into an excellerated academic curriculum is character building and knowledge about God and His word. I put my children into this school for the education. I wasn't a follower of Christ, but in the seven years my children have attended both the pre-school and elementary school, I have seen the light and given my life to Christ. You don't have to be a Christ follower to give your child the best education possible in the Napa Valley. With the lowest private school tuition in the valley plus the smallest maximum class size, how can you NOT afford to put your kids in this school?

We could not be happier with FCS. They focus on high academic standards but in a stimulating and nurturing environment. They can accomodate students with learning differences. I am most impressed with the character building - the children are so happy and polite. The middle schoolers are so respectful and truly look out for the younger students. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a Christian-based education. There are so many reasons why this school is growing so fast.

Great school. Great staff. Very supportive of our daughter and family. Sure, there isn't any grass, but who cares? The community is awesome.

The teachers and staff at First Christian School put students first. They go the extra mile ... 100 miles to ensure that the education our children receive is excellent. We believe that nurturing faith and academics go hand-in-hand. Knowing that the principles we teach at home are further reinforced at school is invaluable to our family. Also, critical thinking and analysis is something that is generally overlooked in most public schools. Seeing the seeds of these principles being taught to elementary students, setting the foundation for the students to make their own solid decisions, is extraordinary and well appreciated. FCS is helping our children get a faith-based jumpstart on life. This is why we support FCS.

My son is in 3rd grade at this school and has been with FCS since Pre-School. He has been diagnosed with Dyslexi and we used and outside source, Psychologist to test him for other learning disabilities. They have accomidated ALL his needs including in house tutoring and his IQ testing shows his education is at a minimum 4th grade level or above. I attest this to the wonderful enviroment he has been nurtured in for years. MS. Ellis is a wonderful principal, fair and loving.

First Christian School is a first rate academic program with excellent leadership. I have a kindergartener and a preschooler at FCS and I couldn't ask for a better program. I love that my children are getting an exceptional academic education while getting reinforcement of the moral teachings we are trying to instill in them, as parents. It's a safe environment with patient, intelligent, respectful and loving teachers.

So far -- so good! My daughter is a first year Kindergartener this year and I couldn't be happier with our choice in placing her at FCS. The techers are well qualified, credentialed, and experienced and they teach to the whole person (academically, socially and spiritually). The Administration is exceptionally gifted, has tremendous vision and has proven faithful in executing that vision. Academically, the children are at or above their public school peers, and 2 months into school, my daughter is reading small words. I really like the social theme this year: Respect, Responsibility and Safety. All are taken very seriously at FCS. Parental involvement is high and most importantly, spiritually, I am thankful my kids are being taught Truth alongside the nuts & bolts of academics. As long as we're in Napa, our children will attend FCS!

My son has been attending FCS for one year- kindergarten- and he LOVES it. As a parent, I am very happy with the staff, level of parent involvement and the few extras-a great art program. I love the family atmosphere of FCS. But most of all I so appreciated the Christian view that is placed on academic and social learning. Love, grace and personal responsibility are taught on all levels. We will definitely look forward to continuing our children's education at FCS..
