My daughter has been attending for 3 years. I am having a difficult time. I always pictured myself being involved in her school, PTA, etc. Unfortunately, I am not. I only speak English. The majority of the student's parents speak Spanish. In stead of recognizing that parents of both languages exist, the school, based on the majority, accomodates Spanish speaking parents. I have attempted to attend a PTA meeting and an after school knitting class with my daughter, both were held in Spanish. I am very frustruated.
