Great school for bullies! Teachers support bullies fully and let them pick on the quiet kids. Very strange....Could be a great school otherwise.

A caution to parents of special needs or advanced children! We made the decision to pull our three children when we realized that two of our advanced children spent their time tutoring other kids who were not up to speed. Most kids in Waldorf inspired schools are one year older than public school children. Yet they learn things at a slower rate. Absurd! My daughter was not only skipped up a grade in her new school but continues to be advanced! She no longer feels bad or guilty for knowing more! Yuba River was education gone backwards in our experience. There was also a TON of pressure to give money to the school.. Lots of expensive field trips etc. plus continuous other needs. If you live on a tight budget, you may find this "free" school too expensive to attend.

This school is doing what no other could, helping my two boys succeed and has renewed their love of learning and art. It isn't just about stuffing their heads with information, its about creating a healthy human person. This school rocks!
