Sierra Vista School

My child attended Secret Ravine for only a few months, but I found the school to be excellent. The ratio of staff to students is VERY high, and the availability of a 26.5 counselor in the class full time is amazing. The teacher was very caring, and the "Nurtured Heart" program they used was very loving towards kids who can be very hard to handle. They even had a class to teach the parents the program. I often wish I hadn't moved, because the ED school in the county where we ended up was nowhere near as good.

I would have to agree, this school is horrible. Especially for girls.The school is mainly of male students with anger management issues. You are lucky to see but 1 or 2 female students there for a year.Parents end up polling their girls out because of all the violence and peer pressure perversions from the male students. It's horrifying that the staff are unable to keep control of their students.

This is an awesome school. My granddaughter has excelled sence she has started attending Secret Ravine last year. The teacher, staff and therapist are all great. They truly care about their students.
