My son is finishing up his second year of preschool. His teacher, Miss Ashley, has been AMAZING!!!! She really takes in interest in her students. My son had an IEP for speech therapy. He is now tested out. She really has gone above and beyond! The two aides (Miss A. and Miss Carla) have also been amazing. I just hope my son's teacher for kinder is as amazing as she is.
I love this school as well. The new Principal, Mr. Dyen is really great with the kids and Mrs. Platt and the ladies in the office are great!
I love this school, my son graduated from this school is excellent the best in this area, I'm really happy, was an excellent experience for my child
Gledhill is Great; the stuff is very helpfull; and the principal is new (now is a male) to new to say anything about him, the teachers are very involved and patient with the kids. 1 of my kids has now graduated from gledhill and i have a second grader who loves the school.
The staff in the front office is not helpful. The principal is unaproachable and unprofessional. Most of the teachers are ok. I would not reccommend this school.
I absolutely LOVE this school! I have had several children attend this school and know they would not have had the same opportunites anywhere else. The Principal is AMAZING and makes the children her priority. The teachers are also WONDERFUL, they have always involved us in our children's academic life. I have always felt welcome by the Principal, teachers and staff. I couldn't have asked for a better school for my kids.
The teachers are overworked and the Principal needs to be replaced she is overbearing and unapproachable. She constantly stresses everyone out about test scores. She doesn't have the childrens best intrest in mind. The school security is a joke and constantly embrasses the children that are minutes late in the morning. Their is no structure for the drop off and pick and defintely it is an accident waiting to happen. There is little no supervision for the kids while there on the playground. The school creates a violent atmosphere by the Principal's look away policy on handling violent children. I do not trust the care of my child at this school yet she has to attend there. Be aware!
Gledhill rocks! I have a son who graduated from this school, his first grade teacher saw his potential in arts and he is a great artist now, the office staff is extremely friendly and always willing to help, their playground has been updated it, they now have a soccer field and brand new classrooms, my son absolutely loved all his magnet teachers, and now my daughter is in 1st grade enjoying the wisdom of the same 1st grade teacher, I do have to say that the current principal is abrasive and seems unfriendly sometimes but I believe that beyond that she is doing a great job!
Very good magnet school. Strong teaching staff. Competant Principal.
My kids have gone to this school for the past 7 years.I think this school has a great academic program.I only wish they would update their playground/equipment.All members of the staff are friendly and very approachable from the Office personel to the custodians to the teaching professionals.I haven't had any negative experiences with anyone there.
