Ms Mendez and her assistant Ms Orantes are wonderful teachers. They are very dedicated to the children s education. They are also very loving and supportive as well. The principal is a bit pompous and even though he may have many years of experience, maybe it is time for a FRESH innovative Principal for this new "up and coming" school. The Preschool teacher Mrs. Williams is also and amazing teacher. If you get the opportunity to have either of these teachers, consider yourself very lucky!

My one-star rating is all due to the principal, Mr. Limon. He is a weak principal. Last year at my son's kindergarten culmination, there were rules that stated that parents must stay seated and not bring mylar balloons so that it does not block people's views. Ignorant parents just disregarded the rules and did it anyway. Mr. Limon did not enforce the rules. Many parents then came up to the stage and stood in front of people blocking everyone's view and no one did anything. People started yelling and fighting and it was CHAOS. Mr. Limon did not do a single thing. As Principal, it is his job to control the parents and enforce school rules. He's weak. He caters to the spanish speaking parents. Many times, I would get school notices only in SPANISH! Unacceptable! This is the USA! I should be able to read a school document in English! This school was much better when Mrs. Stevenson was the principal. Mr. Limon should be replaced.

I loved this school. My son only attended Kindergarten here and the teacher was phenomenal. I have never been so AMAZED how the teacher dedicated her time to her students. I would have loved it for the school to go up to 5th grade but I am glad it will open in August 2012 for K-5 students. Excellent!!!!

My son is attending Ms. Khoury class at this school and I like how he's doing in class. After being able to volunteer in his classroom, I really like how his teacher involves students in social and intellectual skills. Being a new school, it's a plus to have a very clean environment as well.

I had a privilege to visit Mrs. Khoury class for an observation on 2/09. I am very impress not only with her teaching styles, but her classroom reflects a well planned and well thought environment that is not only caters to the children's social and cognitive development but most all provoking. She has a display board (in honor of presidents' Day) with the children silhouttes and has a label 'One of Us Can Become the Next President'. The school is very safe and adopts DAP (Developmentally Appropriate Practices). Mrs. Khoury is awesome with children. Thanks for your accomodation.

This school is small and really focuses on each and every child's individual need. I think that the size helps in refocusing teachers to students' needs.

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.
