Some old friends from my St. Jane's 8th grade graduating class have been talking on Facebook about a reunion soon, and this talk has rendered me nostalgic of my 9 years at St. Jane's (K-8). I'm happy to see that the school continues to be rated so highly. I received an excellent education there, along with a childhood of fond memories, and good friends. My personal story about the moral and academic excellence of St. Jane's: At 5, I went to a public kindergarten. My parents were unimpressed, and opted to enroll me in Catholic school. St. Jane's interviewed/tested me for 1st grade. I scored in the 99th percentile on all standardized tests, but I was apparently very shy around anyone but Mom and Dad. When asked direct questions by the principal, I was silent. My birthday was right on the cusp between K/1st grade, and St. Jane's wisely said that 1 more year of Kindergarten would strengthen my social development among teachers and peers, and I'd flourish as a child and a student. My parents listened-I'm glad they did! 9 years later, I graduated c/o '96 as co-valedictorian, had a 3.9 GPA at NDHS, and attended UC Berkeley. Thanks, St. Jane's, for giving your students a head start.

Great catholic school including preschool/prek program! Teachers care about each and every student. It's a little community where everybody knows everybody and the kids enjoy school and all other activites, such as sport,s art, afterschool care, summer camp, etc.
