St. Paul's First Lutheran School 5

We have been so blessed to have found St. Paul's. It's a teeny school in North Hollywood, but it has a heart as big as the world. My kindergartner and I felt so welcome when we toured the school. The principal Mr. Koepple was so warm and welcoming to us. As we met the teachers and saw how happy the students were, we were happily surprised. Miss Miller the kindergarten teacher was so happy to talk to us and show us work the kids had done, and just talking to her we could tell she loved the kids and teaching. Her class was full of fun, creative and educational toys for the kids. St. Paul's has so many activities throughout the year, the fall festival, trunk or treat, snow day, the school play- just to name a few. They also have music, choir, drama, sports, computer- plenty to give the children a great education. As our first year at St. Paul's comes to a close I am very happy with our experience and feel even more at home at this school. We Love St. Paul's!

I just want to say thanks to Miss Miller for your love and dedication to my son this year. He has grown so much and learned more than I could have imagined. I am so glad to have my son in your class. We love you Miss Miller.

St. Paul's develops these traits through teaching biblical principles in all areas of the students lives at school. In the classroom, on the playground and even at special events.

This school has been a real blessing to us. The education they provide is meant to nurture our children academically and spiritually. Their staff is highly trained and we always feel at peace when we drop our daughter off each morning. St. Paul's makes sure kids get excited to go to school. They plan several field trips, summer camps and so many other fun activities during the year, so there's always something exciting coming up. So far St. Paul's has exceeded our expectations and we would recommend this school to any parent who wish for the best education for their children.

The small classes allow the teachers to know their students and families. This communication helps with the effectiveness.

Of course, when your adult schedule and extra curricular activities take time, you may feel at certain times the homework is too much. However, they are usually given enough time to work around those events.

No one likes to give up on a child but I have seen how the staff tries every resource to help him.

Verbal and physical attacks are dealt with immediately and the child is made aware of their lack of respect. The parent is also contacted.

There are some students who have challenges and the other students are aware of it and help them with these challenges. When there is a death or severe illness in the family, the class comforts and shows compassion for their situation.

Developing honesty, integrity and fairness can always be judged differently by people. I feel using the biblical standards is the best way and the more practical way is using grading system, participation and attitude.
