This school cannot be beat in any way, shape or form. It is worth every dollar.
The academic bar is set high and the faith traditions have given my husband and me a renewal of our own faith. When our son got accepted, he was having a very difficult time adapting to the routine after transferring from a local school. The staff really worked with him at his level and brought him up to where he shined. Kudos to OLL, they really knows how to assess and teach a child on his own level. Did I mention this school is leaps ahead in technology? Staff is highly qualified and there is a counselor on campus. The children that graduate from OLL are accepted to the most prestigious high schools in the valley. My son was accepted to both Chaminade High School and Notre Dame, he chose Chaminade High School.
This school has been a breath of fresh air from the previous Catholic school I attended. The staff is amazing and this school and church are both on th same page and everything is about the KIDS. Which is the point of everything. I am happy to be attending this school.
This is a wonderful Catholic school that has a highly educated staff who are hard working and are dedicated to their students success. This school is a community for learning while incorporating faith.
Our Lady of Lourdes is a wonderful school. The teachers truly love the children. They do their best to guide our children and help them become loving, caring, responsible young adults who respect others. The Day Care Staff is exceptional - we couldn't send our children to this great school without them. The Day Care Staff helps the kids with their homework and spends quality time with them participating in wholesome activities. The Principal and Vice Principal are involved and concerned and have the children's best interest at heart. They make sure the children have what they need to get a high-quality, religious education. I feel lucky to be able to send my children to this school. (It's where I went to school!) I also feel my children are better educated than any child who goes to a public school. They are more respectful, considerate, trustworthy, loving, and well-rounded because of it. They learn about Jesus, Mary and the Holy Spirit and are better people because of OLL.
I absouletly love OLL, they have an amazing education and truly care about the students.
OLL is a warm and loving environment and a great community. Excellent leadership and staff, upgrated technology, tuition is a deal! Missing Northridge
So far I'm happy at this school. Most of the parents are very involved. There is a strong feeling of community. The academics are strong and the religious education is also very good.
Academics seems to be solid at OLL. It's a smaller school with just 1 classroom per grade for E-5 (pre-K) and K through 8th grades. Class size is 30-35 for all but E-5. Afterschool sports are available for upper grades. Music is limited to singing a few days a week. PE is 2 days a week. There are some afterschool art, science and chess programs available. Parents are very involved. There is a 40 hour per family volunteering requirement. But this helps parents get to know each other and be more involved in the school, so it's a good thing.
I enjoyed learning at this school and believe other children will benefit from the experience.
