I am sorry to hear that your child was suspended from NHCS. I am positive the decision was a hard one for the staff as well. Our family has been involved with NHCS since the 80's. All 3 of our children graduated from NHCS and have all gone on to very successful careers and are Blessed of God. Their character and discipline shine. I attribute not only to consistent parenting but the prodding and input of insightful staff and directors that pray for students and sacrifice their time to teach them to do their best. Since we have had success at NHCS with our own children, our children have enrolled their children at NHCS. One of them has ADHD. We have found them to work with that child just as well. Personally, I thank God for this school and will support them, staff, directors, fundraisers, and anything else they may need! They are not perfect, but neither am I. NHCS-You are in my heart and daily prayers! GO WARRIORS!!!!!!

I have recently pulled my 3 yeard old from this school. He loved going here but unfortunatly I had to pull him because he kept getting "suspended". I originally enrolled him here because of the smaller class sizes and I thought that he would get more attention academecally. I guess more attention was not a good thing. I don't agree with supending and expelling any 3 year old from school. This Director needs to learn that she will not always have a perfect "Christian Children" attending her school. My son is not bad,he is not perfect but he is a normal boy who gets excited and sometimes plays rough. Instead of expelling him they should have tried to fix the situation, I heard that other schools have someone come in and talk to children who are misbihaving. If your child is not perfect then I suggest you look for another school. The teachers are great thou it's the director who is in charge of the preschool and daycare who is the problem. I feel for my son for the sudden change that he had to go through in transition to another school.

I am a graduate of this school (Class of '03). This school has amazing teachers that help students to build character and confidence. The insightful and open-minded administration have continually made improvements to offer a better experience for children. I attended the school from the 3rd to the 12th grade. During that time I was challenged academically, however they always made sure that I was where I could succeed and master the material before moving on. This mastery foundation carried on into my undergraduate at Whitworth University, where I earned a B.A. in Psychology. It has also helped me as I finish up my MSPA (Masters of Public Administration) at California State University, Los Angeles. I could not have done any of it with out the help and guidance I was given from this school.

I am a parent and it's that time of the year to registar my children for school. I cannot imagine sending them anywhere else except NHCS. I know I am putting them in a good environment with people who not only care about their academics but also their character. Thank you NH for all you do.

My children have attended NHCS for many years. I feel they are receiving an excellent education not only in their academics, but also in the Word of God. I am kept updated on their progress weekly and if I have any questions I know I can call and they will be answered in a timely manner. I have noticed NHCS has added more extracurricular activities such as CIF sports and music. My children actually look forward to going to school and I feel good knowing they are in a safe and caring enviroment.

My children attend this school. I am very pleased with the academics, standards, moral and spiritual values that they are learning. I monitor at the school and am always notified of my childrens progress. I don't believe my kids would be able to get the same anywhere else. I look forward to the day I am able to say my child is a graduate of new harvest christian school. I have seen students go on to be accepted at prestigious colleges, including but, not limited to harvard, vanguard, ucla, etc. I am a proud parent of an honor roll student who maintained a 94% and higher on all tests. This is what the school is about.

Students do not experience quality learning. When they advance to college or universities they are not prepared due to poor learning

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
