wow the person below who gave one star seems like s/he took their child to a completely different school. My son has been there for almost two years--we love the school and the teachers are wonderful and caring.

I completely disagree. I have never seen any teacher or director not say HI or Goodbye to the children. They know each child by name. The TV is on at end of day when kids get picked up. All other TV watching is for academic purposes. Also, I don't know why you feel 'stat (state)' food is different from other foods. I can't tell the difference actually. I see the Rockview milk truck there everyday. Is that bad?

As a parents, We were looking for a pre-school that would give our children all needed skills for a successful transition into kindergarten and the social skills necessary to deal with life itself. We found that in joyland preschool. What a wonderful place to be a child! The school is extremely clean and beautiful with a large play area. The rooms are spacious and kid-friendly. The curriculum meets the needs of the children at their level. Our daughters knows how to write their names, count, and read couple of simple sentense which is very impressive. The creative projects the kids create are amazing, and they arrange many special activities such as gymnastics, dancing, singing and fieldtrips. Kids participate in wonderful concerts for New Years, Mother's day and Father's day. Kids provided with daily healthy and nutritional meals.

This great school that provides an outstanding array of opportunities for kids both in school and after. The math program is excellent, the science program in coordination with ECER's is extremely rewarding and the writing progam gives the students great opportunities to improve writing skills.

My son went to the school for 2 years. He was always loved and treated well. When the kids watch TV it is at the end of the day when the parents are picking up the kids. My son did get colds but that happens. The teachers especially Miss Martha loved my son and always professional and loving! Its a good place for kids. Kids know when they are loved so if they are bad with parents... thats okay.. as long as they are good to the kids and they are!

I disagree with the review below. The TV the children are watching is always something related to learning. My child goes there too and I dont see any neglect. My child gets a cold too but so does my other child that goesto the public school. I think the parent below must be just upset with the teacher and bad mouthing the school.

I agree. This is the WORST school I have ever seen. These 5-star reviews misled me to put my child in this school. I don't agree that the school is clean because you can see little dirty faces everywhere, not to mention the little hands. My child ended up with a very bad cold. They always watch TV with her peers. Sometimes with 1 'teacher' or no teacher in front of the TV. The teacher are not Professionals. this is the WORST decision I have ever made for my child.

I agree. I was fortunate to get my daughter into their ECERS program. Her comprehension of the environment and education has dramatically increased. It is no wonder they have a 5 star rating.

The teachers are professionals, the staff is courteous, and the Director ensures everything runs smoothly. My child went to public school this year and he is 2 years ahead in math and reading then the other students. This is the best decision I have ever made for my child.
