I'm currently a senior and I've truely enjoyed my experience here at John Glenn. They have really great teachers, coaches, and faculty. Although budget cuts have made a huge impact on lack of activities, it's still filled with alot of school spirit.

I am a parent of a 10th grader that was transferred from La Mirada High. My son was sent here on 10/01/09. From the very first day my son walked into John Glenn he noticed the friendly staff and excellent communication with his peers. His grades have soared and his attitude towards school has made him a better person. Thanks to the Teachers, Councelor and all staff, he says he finally feels at home here at John Glenn.

I am the proud parent of a 2007 graduate of Glenn and an anxious parent of an incoming freshman. I have been quite please with the education my child received. CST scores don't lie, in the past 7 years this school has continued to improve. My child felt safe, encouraged and challenged while at Glenn. She now is on the President's Honor Roll in her Junior year at a Cal State. I have had nothing but a positive experience. As for the teachers, 2 District Teachers of the Year in a row speaks for itself.

I'm currently a senior at Glenn and its not like everyone thinks. Its actually a great school. There's plenty of great teachers there and good consolers. The principle isn't the best, but hey no one's perfect. The way I see it, you can't blame the school. Students are going to do what they want. I know a lot of people that are attending and have attended Glenn that are doing great.

I am a mother of two kids who attend this school for two years. I graduated 2003 and all I have to say is this is not the high school to send your kids. The principal is horrible and has favorites. As for learning, all they do is hand you handouts explain what's on the handouts and that's it. There really isn't any challenge given to the students. Do the work and they pass. Don't get me wrong there are a few teachers that are great teachers. But overall, avoid this school. I'd grade the principal below average. Maybe if they change the principal, this school will actually succeed into something.

I dont agree , with the rest of the people,. that say that this school , can use more parent involvement , I am a parent of 2 kids, that go to Glenn , One is a Senior and one a freshmen, and they try to involve us as much as possible, it's up to the students if they want there parents to get involved or not

This school does not have much parent involvement which is sad because they could do so much more if it did. The quality of academic programs is very poor and most of the teachers are absoulutely horrible.
