I used to be a student at Nettie L. Waite Middle School until I moved about a month ago to Corona. In my life I have moved many times and with full confidence I can say that Waite Middle school was a very great school. My new school in comparison to Waite, or any of my past schools don't come close to such a great level. In my two years there I have raised my academics to great heights. The teachers are extremely dedicated to their job, the staff is really friendly and is devoted to supporting the school. I also realized that Waite comparatively to some schools is also very wealthy! They have hands on electronic learning devices that some schools are unaware of. Up-to-date computers, and the list goes on. If you are attending Waite or plan on attending Waite, you can take my word for it that it is a great school. Its packed with everything to give you or your children everything they will need to move on to high school with great knowledge and success. Today I regret moving from such a awesome school. GO WAITE PANTHERS
Waite Middle School is a great school, many educated teachers I should know because i go here everyone is nice. My principal is Mr. Norman and he is very nice. There are many students and you make friends in a quickness.
the school district, the principal, the vice-principal, the teacher, the staff they are trying so hard to make the school better, and they are all nice. The parents of this kids they cant controll them, or discipline them, really some of the parents to blame..
most of the bad review is true...less homework..a lot of school fights...horrible school
I used to go here for all my middle school years and let me tell you I meet the best people of me life here. People who say its a bad school just say that because either their kids or they don't care about their education and get stuck with bad teachers. Don't blame the school blame the parents. I was in advanced classes here all 3 years and I learned everything I needed to. So don't assume its a horrible school until you've given it a chance. I miss Waite a wish I could go back!
school is terrible, classes overly full, lot's of after school fights, little to no home work. horrible neighborhood.
this school does not have enough attention for the parents and students.
If you are able to get a permit to send your child elsewhere, I would suggest it. Not the best in atmosphere for your budding teen
To whom it may concern: My name is Elsa Moran and I have been trying to get informationn on teachers that used to work there during the years of 1983-1988. This is around the time that I was enrolled there (when it was still an elementary). I am now an elementary teacher (Kindergarten)in Avenal, CA. I thought it would be nice to get in touch with some of my teachers to let them know about the great impact they had on my life! Teachers: Martha Meade(1st grade), Cynthia Obledo(2nd grade), Martha Gaxiola(4th grade) and Alicia Flores (Folklorico Dance Instructor) I would really appreciate a response!! Thank you, Elsa L. Moran
