I have 2 boys at Lu Sutton. One is in his last year there and the other just started last year as a kindergartener. The entire staff at this school is a godscent. They always make you feel welcomed and always have a smile for you. One of my boys had a slight speech problem last year even thou he was only in grade K the Special Ed. staff did some testing and he was able to go twice a week to his speech class. I knew it was paying off when I would hear him walk around the house really concentrating on sounding out his words, and so far this year he has brought home 3 spelling test - All with 100%. Now that is what I call a great teaching staff. Thanks Lu Sutton for being a school we as parents, teachers, children can all be proud of.

My oldest son just finished his Kindergarten year at Lu Sutton. I was not quite sure what to expect, but it was an amazing year, my son learned so much and the teachers, principal and parent volunteers were the best I have ever seen. I am so excited for school to start again and look forward to my younger son starting in 2 years.

Lu Sutton is our little secret here in Novato the teachers are wonderful, the principal is amazing The parent involvement is high. We have had 3 children come through Lu Sutton and it just keeps getting better I am very proud of our school. and wouldn't be anywhere else.

After researching many schools for my daughter we chose Lu Suttton. I was drawn to the parent involvement. We were very impressed by the open house night, meeting the teachers, seeing the projects that the children had been working on and meeting many of the parents. We love Lu Sutton!

My 2 children have gone to Lu Sutton in the last 10 years and my youngest just graduated. We have been truly impressed with the parent, teacher AND community (others w/o children) who contribute to the many special programs and activities. The school is a close community within itself as almost half of the teachers are parents of children who attend/have attended Lu Sutton. I am so impressed that I will still contribute to this school even though my children are gone because I don't want it to lose any of its creatively nurturing and special academic appeal.

I have my two sons enrolled in Lu Sutton. We attended a different neighborhood school during my sons kindergarten year but since moving have been here for the past 2 years. We couldn't be happier! There is an overwhelming sense of community and closeness. Everyone truly cares about the school and it shows.

I have been a parent, PTA president, Leadership Team chairperson, room mom, classroom volunteer and am now a teacher at Lu Sutton. I have experienced this wonderful school from every angle and I can honestly say that it is an excellent place to send your children. We are inclusive. We are never exclusive. Our diversity is celebrated everyday, not just once a year. Go Cheetahs!

We have two children at Lu Sutton. Both have had an outstanding educational experience during the last four years. The teachers have been fantastic and Lu Sutton offers many resources that other elementary schools in the area don't, such as speech therapy, resource aids, leveled reading groups, homework clubs, english learner programs and much more. The parental community is very involved and supportive. Lu Sutton received the California Distinguished School Award last year. You just can't go wrong here.
