College Preparatory and Architecture Academy

As a graduating senior, CPAA has offered me many new skills such as responsibility and many others. It has prepared me and I am sure it has prepared my fellow seniors for college. I would say that CPAA IS the best school I have gone to. It offers great courses such as Calculus and AP Courses. Which I fear are not offered at many other schools within the Oakland vicinity.

CPAA is the best public high school in the OPSD. If you have weakness the teachers will turn them into strengths. CPAA is an excellent academic center, but also offers a variety of interesting extra curricular activities. (i served as class president for 3 years, editor/writer of the school newspaper, and class rep!) We have lots of school spirit and put a large amount of focus on insuring that every student succeeds! -R.P. CPAA Alum '09!

I am currently a student of CPAA. I think that by far this is the best school that I have ever attended my whole entire life. I LOVE it and I recommend that if you are a dedicated student, that this school is great for you. The teachers are very dedicated, inspiring, and helpful, they are always there for you. This school offers a variety of AP classes such as AP US History,AP Government/Economics, AP English Language, AP English literature, AP Chemistry, AP Spanish Language, AP Calculus, and others. The graduates get accepted to Mills, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UC Santa Cruz, UC Santa Barbara and other colleges.
