Millsmont Academy just opened it's 2nd school site, Millsmont Academy Secondary for the middle school grades. We transferred from Catholic school to this school because of the positive feedback we received from a few parents whose children had a different learing style as does my child. I must say, I have been impressed. The principal is a no nonsense person and stresses to the children that they are college bound. That college is in reach for everyone, and that even if they learn differently than others they can still succeed. She has been very supportive with my childs needs and so has the staff. Thus far I am pleased with my decision to send my child to this school.

My child has been attending Millsmont since it opened last fall, and I like the curriculum they have for the children. The principal is awesome and she loves all of her students. I would definately recommend this school to anyone looking for a charter school for their child. My son brings home challenging homework everyday and that is something I appreciate. Children need challenges in their schoolwork. Millsmont is a great school. Fieldtrips all the time. The students are constantly learning.
