This school has been very satifactory for me and my son. He now is in the third grade. He told me that he is learning fractions right now. He has improved his skills in math, science, and reading. I am very proud of this school.

This school is a jewel in densely populated urban neighborhood. Wonderful, talented and extremely dedicated group of teachers who take on many extra activities to support their students learning. Little turn over in staff. Exceptional garden space for learning. Family support by a core group of parents.

  • At Franklin School, students are learning before, during, and after school. We have a diverse student body which encompasses over 27 languages, including Arabic and Kareni, so we offer Structured Emersion Instruction (SEI). We also have 10 bilingual classes for Cantonese, Spanish, and Vietnamese students. To further enhance our academic program, we offer the following: ACES Science Program, Playworks School Program, EBAYC Afterschool Tutorial Program, Instrumental Music, Garden Program, Playworks Afterschool Program, Harbor House Afterschool Program, MUSE Orchestra, Keyboarding Class, and Mandolin Class.
