Small class size (14-18) provide a great environment for learning. Lower school is not overly academic. Middle school is quite academic. High school is very academic with many teachers with advanced degrees and very college preparatory oriented. Most teachers really care about the students and generally do a great job.

We have had three children at this school and for two of them the experience was (and is) that of a top notch education. Nothing is perfect, but the school has a long tradition of knowing how to teach, how to give students an appreciation for learning, and has an open-minded staff and faculty that is in general responsive to student's needs and parent's desires. Our eldest child did well at HRS (the college guidance service is excellant-all schools should be so lucky!) and gained admittance to a wide variety of colleges. Yes the traffic may be a small problem, but in this day and age of childen being shuttled almost everywhere by car or bus - I know of few schools where this is not an issue.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
