I think this is n outstanding school. It has good curriculum, and the teachers and faculty are so devoted to the kids. Mrs. Seeger a 2nd grade teacher goes above and beyond, what is expected of a teacher in my opinion.
School is marginal in terms of academics. There are really good teacher for grades K-3, however 4th grade & beyond do not have highly qualified staff members. I would not want my child at this school for grades 4, 5 & 6.
MFP has been a rock solid school for my children. It has fabulous leadership in Lynn Gilstrap and Ms. Cecil, who care very much about the children and their families. MFP brought in counsellors for the children when the twin towers were hit, and they also keep a stable steady environment for children whose lives are otherwise unstable in their military environment. MFP is always well represented at local events like the Math Fair, Don Dornan (Field&Track) games, and spelling bees. My children and are proud to have experienced a bit of MFP's history, and we will miss it sorely when we move this summer.
This is a really good school. Whether this is because of great teachers, great parents, or simply the military setting, MFP has been a good place for my girls to be. I will miss it when we leave.
Having children in school for more than 21 yrs, I have to say this is the best school, any of my children have attended. Teachers really do care, their on top of things, take pride in their teaching and the staff is supportive. I am grateful my daughter attends Mary Fay Pendleton! Thank you!
My daughter is in kindergarten and I can not picture her doing so well and loving school as much as she does if she went to another school.
This is by far the best school I could imagine for my children to go to school at. We're in the military, so my kids have been to dif. schools, and this tops all! Most of the teachers are very nurturing, and they all care about the kids.
