I am currently an incoming junior at this school and I absolutely love it. El Camino is an incredibly diverse school with so many oppurtunities available to EVERYONE, not just those who happen to have high test scores. The teachers are fun and create an amazing and sfe learning environment for everyone.

I am currently attending this school, and it does its best to get its students active in school activities. It also has many intresting choices for electives, and credit recovery as well. They challenge you and help you to learn responsibility and excel in your studies.

My daughter is a sophomore this year and is excelling. She has high hopes for herself and her teachers and counselor are supportive and nudge her to push herself beyond her comfort level.

I have 2 students at El Camino High School and couldn't be more pleased. They are both challenged academically and involved in school activities. They are having the time of their lives!

I graduated El Camino in 2002 and I really appreciated the help I received from teachers and the principal. I enjoyed all of the AP classed that were available to take. I did however dislike the lunch setup and security measures taken when it rained. IE: students were not allowed to sit in cars when it rained and you pretty much had to find a teacher that would let you in their classroom or try and squeeze underneath an overhang. I will never forget going snowboarding with the club and having Mr. Briggs, our principal attend and the next morning he showed up in our classes to make sure we all came to class the next day...that showed he really cared about our education and our fun.

A decent school, now a 'Distinguished' school. It is one of those schools that has to contend with students from many social and economic levels, and those with language difficulties. Administration, faculty, and staff do their best to ensure that students receive a good education. Of course, it is up to the students, and their parents, to do their part. El Camino is a good school in a good district.

The faculty and staff for the most part are very knowledgeble about the students. They seem to really caring. I have left my student in ECHS for that very reason. The curriculum seems to be farely challenging while offering students various oppurtunities on career ideals. The sports program is pretty solid as well.
