As a former student, I am 100% sure I would have never received my diploma if not for the warm, friendly and safe environment Ocean Shores offered me. I even graduated a full year early in this lovely non-threatening environment.

I started at this school my Junior Yr. because my grades were horrible. That year I caught up all my credits with the great help of the teachers and guiding me in the right direction! My senior year I realized that I had to go to night school as well as day school and I worked a full time job. I realized that I wasn't going to graduate if I didn't kick it into gear so i told myself that I was not going to have any kind of social life my senior year. Well it payed off I graduated and if weren't for all of the great support from this school I would have never graduated! I enjoyed with this school the 'one on One' interaction from student to teacher they actually take time out to sit down with the students.

I'm currently attending this school, and I love the fact that, dispite the colorful lives of the students, none of us are judged for our past actions. All of the teachers and staff know everyone's name, and the teachers just seem like they actually care, unlike some teachers at the regular comprehensive high school. They talk to us like people, not a large group of animals. This school is my last chance, and I just wish I could've gone here sooner.

Great school. My son's grade point average soared last year, to almost a 4.0, from being very low at the beginning of the year. The staff and teacher's are great. They care about their student's, and their future.

If you want a school where your child does not need to show up for class or can repeatedly be late and still pass then this is the school to have them attend. Ocean Shores goal of passing students is achieved through non-discipline and allowing students to miss classes without reprimand. My daughter missed more than enough classes to fail twice out of a regular school, but this was dismissed at Ocean Shores because of the overall goal! Great to teach children how to cheat the system.
