I will say that if anything they DO NOT apply the NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND philosophy. My child is not a genuis, and is not behind in her learning. She is actually advanced by two years and I was told there is nothing they can do to help me with that. So, what type of education is happenong here ??????????

My son likes his particular teachers, but the rest of the staff......is out there. Needs an overhaul with the administation staff.

olivehurst is below state standards as far as their testing goes. Academics are not a priority. I've seen many teachers give very little homeowrk if any at all. Most do not care if child finishes it. Rarely call parent conferences if child is struggling. Administration as well as teachers poorly handle problem children and rarely deal with harmful conflicts between kids. Many teachers are very difficult to talk to. they often interrupt the parent of child when they are telling their side of the story. Parents aren't informed of school activities in a timely manner. School is very unorganized.
