The school isn't really a good school where kids excel. It's a dull school, where most of the time students don't succeed because of social activities. The staff is friendly but like a comment that I read they are doing their job. The teachers aren't at fault all the way but could try harder! The school lacks discipline in security and need to step it up. I used to go to the school so I know.

I love Ontario High School it has a great school and it has a great team of administrators who understands your children while they are doing bad in a certain class or doing super good in a class they would reward you for improving even a little. They have a good school loop program which keeps the parents in contact with the school administrator and the staff.

I just transfered to OHS and I have to say I love the campus and the teachers here. You can tell the teachers and staff care about the students. OHS academics meets or beats 90% of all other California High schools!! The school spirit here is intense and contagious!! On top of that most of the sports teams have winning records and at the top of our league. I am proud to be a Jaguar!!!! 2011!!!!

OHS was a great experience for me & I loved almost every minute of it. There was always some sort of drama, but high school was the greatest simply because of band. Mr.Berry was not only a teacher to me, but also like a second father. He made my high school years worth while.

I attended this school for four years. After experiencing economic as well as cultural hardships througout the years there it became apparent I needed a real change. Because the school is primarily Hispanic it is easy to see the trends existant within the youth of immigrant parents. I enjoyed my experiences at OHS although academically all my courses were extremely easy. It is an incredible shock to realize the workload that is expected of a college student. OHS did not prepare me for this, regardless of all the AP and Honors courses I took. There are many teachers who honestly care about their positions as educators. There are others who do not appreciate the power they have to trully make diferences in students lives. They are merely there because they have been there for a LONG time. They don't consider their work a profession, rather a job.

Man! This school is so kool I think this school is beter than any school! You know why they have good teachers, principles , etc well especially Miss. OMG! I have been going to this school for 3 years now, on my 4th as a senior and it is a great school! I so wish I was not moving cause the people and teachers here are nice. I was in the OHS color guard for 3 years as captain! It was cool. I love this school!

I for one love ohs I am a freshman ansd was on the wrestling and golf teams. I am in honors classes and I just love it. It is a great school a safe enviroment and also a welcoming happy place. There are'nt really any racial issues except for the few dumb people.It is a great school and parents I suggest you send your kids here.

Ontario High is a great School. My daughter graduated in 05. Mr Berry runs Band and it was an amazing experience for her. I would gladly send my other daughter there if we were not moving. There are not a lot of racial issues either as with Colony High School.

Well I'd have to say that Ontariohigh school is an ok school they offer a variety of programs ,but it lacks in the area of teachers some teachers are there just to be there they dont teach but overall its a good school.

I for one and foremost love this school, being an honor student and all, i have a better perspective of the school than the non-honor students. i am in ASB and in progress of making this school even greater. Our Honors Academics are awesome, Prep level is fairly decent. Ontario High is better than most in the District. Extracirricular activities are excellent at OHS. The Art Department is known for high excellence and having class. sports are going for the gold in these next years so expect to see OHS: Winning in the Inland Empire Newspaper

I was said to go to Chaffey High School, but I wasn't accepted. I was bummed out so I said' I'll go to Ontario High for 1 year and go to Chaffey for the last 3. So I went and it wasn't what I expected. The school was in very good condition, it was well kept, the teachers were nice and helpful (most of them), and the sports team were the best in the league. I love the school. I can't wait to see what the next 3 years are waiting for me. Other than that, I'm in the wrestling team, and to say, we are the best of the best in the league, and even the greatest of teams also have some loses ( 1 or two I think) we will not give up, I guarantee it.

About the tests


In 2011-2012 California used the California Standards Tests (CSTs) to test students in English language arts in grades 2 through 11; math in grades 2 through 7; science in grades 5, 8 and 10; and history-social science in grades 8 and 11. Middle and high school students also took subject-specific CSTs in math and science, depending on the course in which they were enrolled. The CSTs are standards-based tests, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of California. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the tests.

The different student groups are identified by the California Department of Education; if there are fewer than 10 students in a particular group in a school, the state doesn't report data for that group.
